I wonder if the team members that created this site have seen some of these barbaric and racist comments, if so then they need to erase them. Some of the comments in this guest book are really uncalled for. The website is meant to educate people about the thai hilltribes, not to critisize and ridicule. Other than that, I wish I could meat some of these people in person and give them a personal thank you and thumbs up on this website. This makes me want to visit Thailand even more.

Yes, it may mix authoritative information with hearsay and opinion, but the fact that it exists makes it possible for me to be informed on this people group. Information online is very limited, and often repetitive. This site is a bit unique though. One pet peeve: many of the images are unidentified, so despite my exposure to them, I am left uninformed regarding their meaning and significance to the people being discussed. Thank you.

The almost 100K killed in China from the earthquake and the 100K killed in the typhoon in Myanmar are barely enough to scratch the surface. We need a good war, like the past to kill millions to create the population control that is needed, not these wars now a days where only thousands are killed.

Comment  : I liked the panoramic view. I stayed with the LISU people at HeyGo village for ten days in October 2007. I stayed in one of the traditional bamboo houses with a dirt floor. The people I stayed with were very nice.

Comment  : I agree Miller. All cultures are all a mess except ours. I leasrned that working in the Henan Medical University in China while trying to teach Conversational English. Their cultures make them ignorate. That is one reason why we got to destroy the communist government in China... And soon!
